On March 31, Wanda Cinema Line published 2016 Annual Results. In 2016, the Company’s revenue increased 40% compare to same period last year to RMB 11.2 billion.
Net Profit increased 15% on a year-on-year basis to RMB 1.37 billion. Both revenue and net profit achieved sustained growth.
Annual box office and viewership reached a record high of RMB 7.6 billion and of 0.18 billion respectively.
The company’s market share in 2016 was 13.6%.
The figures for box office, viewership and market share lead the country for the 8th consecutive year.
