The Final Round of Selection of Flag Bearers at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Hefei was recently held in Hefei Wanda Theme Park. 4 out of 12 candidates from Hefei and Nanning stood out after personal shows, an English test, a knowledge quiz and other tests. They will participate in the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia as flag bearers. Media across the country and Zhao Peng, a former member of China’s national football team, witnessed the occasion and proudly cheered for them.

The event, organized by Wanda Theme Park and China Youth Daily, was aimed at recruiting and selecting flag bearers for the 2018 FIFA World Cup from Chinese youth across the country, attracting attention from families with teenagers interested in football. As the venue for the initial competition and final round, Wanda Hefei Theme Park again showed its local traditional customs and highlighted its famous image as the “platform for external brand cultures.”
