“As a native of Danzhai, I am particularly committed to supporting the development of my hometown and led a number of activities to help do so throughout my tenure as the mayor. First, I made the documentary “I was Born in Danzhai,” which conveys the many intricate details of local peoples’ lives and customs to audiences. Second, I organized the first half-marathon in Danzhai to promote fitness lifestyles in the village as well as support the development of Danzhai’s tourism industry. Third, I held five live-streaming video programs to promote Danzhai.”
