Wanda Cinema steps up e-commerce efforts

Wanda Cinema Line signed strategic partnership agreements with three major Chinese websites, Alibaba, Baidu and Tencent, to boost the sales through e-commerce platforms.

Starting from this February, movie-goers with accounts on mobile application WeChat, can buy tickets by scanning the QR codes on posters. Tencent also helps to promote newly opened Wanda cinemas to its QQ users and Baidu Maps also allows mobile phone users to buy Wanda cinema tickets directly through Baidu.
