China Times and Yummi Media Group launch cinematic interactive advertising technology

Beijing Wanda Cinema, China Times and UK-based Yummi Media Group jointly staged a product launch of an APP named “Weplay”, with the theme of "Global Interactive Advertising of the Latest Technology ", on the afternoon of October 28.

Yummi Group considers this cooperation as another vital strategy in its global expansion, after the successful development in collaboration with DCM (Digital Cinema Media). Yummi Group’s CEO Alastair Simpson said that he decided to enter the Chinese market due to the rapid growth of its film industry, as well as the substantial amount that Wanda Group has invested in the film market as well as their overall professionalism.

"Weplay" is China Times and Yummi’s first big move into the Chinese market since the establishment of their strategic partnership. Interactive advertising not only improves brand value for advertisers, but also reflects the entertainment and enjoyment of movie media. “Weplay” announced the movie screen advertising 3.0 is coming.
