Wanda Group donates 5 million yuan to quake-hit areas in Tibet

Wanda Group has donated 5 million yuan to areas in Tibet that were affected by the 8.1 magnitude earthquake that hit Nepal on April 25. The contribution is seen as the largest corporate donation of its kind to the area.

Since the Wanda Group was founded, the company has promoted a philosophy of "Creating Common Prosperity through Serving the Community" and strives to undertake more social responsibility. Over the past 27 years, Wanda Group has donated more than 3.8 billion yuan to numerous charitable causes, making it one of the country’s largest private donors.

Wanda Group reacts quickly when major natural disasters happen, being among the first Chinese enterprises to make donations and one of the biggest donators for earthquake relief in Sichuan, Yushu, Ludian, etc.
