Selection list revealed for Wanda’s 2015 “China Future Football Stars” program

Last week, six youth football coaches from Atletico Madrid football club visited the Wanda Institute, ultimately selecting 50 players to join the “China Future Football Stars” program from a total of 140 candidates. The best 30 players will be sent to study aboard at Atletico Madrid football club in Spain this September.
The annual selection event has taken place 3 times before. Ninety young footballers sent to Spain have already made excellent progress in both football and the local language. This selection has drawn increased attention from parents due to the recent news of 20 Wanda players being chosen to join the China National Youth Football team.
