Signing ceremoney between Wanda Tourism and Royal Caribbean International

Wanda Tourism - China's leading mid- to high-end tourism service provider - and the world's largest luxury cruise brand - Royal Caribbean International - entered into a 2016 strategic partnership agreement on November 12, 2015.

Both parties will carry out in-depth cooperation within the scope of business in China in 2016 and for a period of time in the future so that tourists in China can enjoy a wider and richer range of cruise travel products.

Wanda Tourism has been actively developing its cruise business, and is now the largest cruise agency in China.

In 2013, the total number of outbound cruise passengers stood at 570,000; by 2014, the number exceeded 700,000 passengers. China's cruise market is expected to continue to grow rapidly in 2015. The number of home port cruise ships deployed in China will increase from eight in 2014 to 12; for the whole of 2015, the number of outbound mainland Chinese cruise passengers will exceed 1 million (or reach 2 million) for the first time. It can be foreseen that China's cruise market has begun to exhibit explosive growth.

In the current strategic partnership, Wanda Tourism, with all-round support from Royal Caribbean, will actively promote the Royal Caribbean brand through its proprietary media, regional media and online media platforms. At the same time, it will actively sell related cruise products, creating a national sales network. It strives to increase total sales of Royal Caribbean products by 30% in 2016.

Both parties will jointly plan "Wanda Cruise Travel 2016", which is set to create a domestic cruise travel fever.

Since its incorporation in 2013, Wanda Tourism has become one of the top 15 travel agency groups in China in less than two years. Wanda Tourism forecasts sales of more than Rmb10 billion in 2015.
