The Wanda Way sets new record for biographies of Chinese entrepreneurs

Statistics showed that the printed version of The Wanda Way, the biography of Wanda Group Chairman Wang Jianlin, has sold more than 610,000 copies since its launch at the beginning of 2015, setting a sales record for the personal biography genre of Chinese entrepreneurs.

This number was announced during the annual meet-the-author session for The Wanda Way held by CITIC Press Group at Beijing's Wangfujing Bookstore on December 25, Wang Jianlin attended the event and autographed his book for readers

The Wanda Way, published by CITIC Press, debuted in January 2015, and is the first book written by Wang Jianlin. A compilation of the speeches delivered by Wang Jianlin over more than a decade, the book is an authentic and exciting history of corporate entrepreneurship, of personal growth and of evolution of thought.

At the meeting, Wang Bin, President of CITIC Press, said that The Wanda Way has been reprinted 15 times in just 10 months since its publication, a miracle in the publication of business management books.

The Wanda Way has garnered rave reviews. Famous Chinese universities such as Tsinghua University, Peking University and Renmin University have held The Wanda Way reading events. Enterprises have used The Wanda Way as a corporate management textbook, purchasing it in bulk and distributing it to management personnel for learning purposes.

The Wanda Way's overseas performance has also been excellent. The traditional Chinese version has continued to see brisk sales in Hong Kong and Taiwan. The DVD version of The Wanda Way has also commenced publication and distribution. Both the English and Korean editions will be launched next year.

Wang Jianlin also revealed that he will publish another book that will be specially focused on Wanda's corporate business management and system design, so that Wanda's management experience may be shared with the general public.
