AMC Entertainment holds annual Connections Conference

From Feb. 28th to Mar. 2nd, AMC Entertainment held its 4-day annual AMC Connections Conference in Dallas, the 3rd largest city in Texas. Almost 700 people joined the conference, including over 370 General Managers and 110 Senior Managers representing various AMC theatres. AMC corporate associates and a large number of vendor/partners including Coca-Cola and the top six Hollywood studios were also present.

New Chief Executive Officer Adam Aron shared his priorities and strategy for 2016, announcing the goal to lead AMC to become the largest and strongest theatre chain.

The four-day conference consisted of various educative leadership forums, inspiring and entertaining training sessions that improve knowledge and skills developing General and Senior Managers to achieve better performance. The Business Leadership Forums received tremendous positive feedback from all attendees. The conference concluded with an exciting annual award ceremony recognizing the General Managers of the year. 49 General Mangers won nominations and there were 12 runner-ups and 12 winners. US famous actress Drew Barrymore joined the award ceremony and celebrated together with all attendees.

As Wanda Representative, Mr. Jack Gao, Vice President of Wanda Cultural Industry Group and CEO of Intl. Investment & Business Dev., also joined the conference and brought Wanda’s warm greetings and congratulations, cordially welcomed and appreciated by Mr. Adam Aron on behalf of AMC staff.
