Wanda Group launches Global Procurement and Bidding Platform

On April 12, Wanda Group launched its Global Procurement and Bidding Platform after 6 months of research and development.
The platform is accessible for global suppliers. It is a whole-process informatization management and control platform that integrates suppliers management, bidding inviting and procurement management and one-stop service for suppliers. The transparent database entry of suppliers, openness of procurement bidding information and informatization control of this platform have reached world's cutting edge.
Wanda Group’s Cost Control Department along with Information Centre and Audit Centre sorted out the 57,584 suppliers of the Group (classified in 665 categories of Group brands and 117 categories of qualified supplier of single procurement item), revised the procurement bidding scheme of group headquarter, 3 industry groups and 9 systems and conducted R&D for the portal design, supplier database entry process, online procurement bidding process design for a 6 month period.
This procurement bidding platform is featured with integrated supplier portal, integrated code and categorization, online review, transparent database entry, openness of procurement bidding information, clear management authorities and responsibility, connection to audit platform and informatization control and management.
