Wanda Credit Services achieves 99.7% accuracy rate for facial recognition
06.06.2016Facial recognition has become one of Wanda Credit Services’ core biometric identification products, already having been applied within Wanda Financial Group and its external clients. By the end of May 2016, the facial recognition ran more than 3 million times, reaching a 99.7% accuracy rate.
Wanda Credit Services' facial recognition technology is based on a database of human facial images, driven by the in-depth study of neural networks and artificial intelligence. Through facial detection, facial feature positioning, facial feature extraction and facial comparison, the technology builds an identification and recognition system for billions of people.
In the future the technology will be widely applied in password-free payment, consumer finance products, small loan products and mobile phone, real-name verification.
