Qingdao Oriental Movie Metropolis Theater unveils interior space

In recent days, Wanda completed the the steel structure supporting the roof of the Qingdao Oriental Movie Metropolis Theater, presenting a dazzlingly huge interior space that holds 2,000 people.
Qingdao Oriental Movie Metropolis Theatre, the main venue of Qingdao International Film Festival, covers a floor area of 25,000 square meters, marking the largest theatre project of Wanda Group. Since the groundbreaking in May 2015, the project design and construction have been carried out smoothly. The steel structure for the roof and lobby started after May of this year, when Wanda capped the construction of the main body.
At present, the steel structure hoisting of the audience hall roof and lobby is complete and the scaffolding has been removed, providing a glance at the embryonic interior space that boasts a 20-meter height and a capacity of 2,000 people. The theater will launch a secondary structure, interior decoration, electro-mechanical and theater equipment to ensure a brilliant debut on the Qingdao International Film Festival in 2018.
