From August 25 to 26, the 2016 Ffan Commercial Expo and 10th Wanda Group Annual Commercial Convention jointly held by Ffan Commercial Alliance and Wanda Group on the theme of "Opening, Integration, and Smartness" kicks off at Beijing's China National Convention Center. Besides over 300 domestic and overseas brands setting up exhibition booths, 140 Ffan Alliance members bring about 1,235 commercial projects to participate in the Expo for tender-invitation for the first time, and around 8,000 famous brands and over 3,000 national and regional agents will attend the Expo, marking the open industry event with the largest commercial entity scale and the largest number of participating projects.
In recent, with China's economy growth slow-down, plus the impact from the development of E-commerce, bricks and mortar business operation faces great pressure, and traditional bricks and mortar business seeking O2O integration serves as an irresistible innovation and development industry trend. Against such background, with an aim to facilitate the integration of bricks and mortar business with Internet, Wanda Group innovatively developed tender-invitation mode for Wanda Plaza and held 9 Annual Commercial Conventions since 2007. This year, the Wanda Annual Commercial Convention is upgraded to an open industry event for industry cooperation and O2O cooperation to build an open, smart and integrated communication platform with the largest industry scale and widest resource coverage.
This Expo embodies four sections, namely Commercial project tender invitation, Brands cooperation, Ffan open platform cooperation and Wanda Plaza tender-invitation. In terms of participating enterprises, 140 Ffan Alliance member, including Greenland Group, Hong Kong New World, Shenzhen Baoneng, Guangzhou R&F, Better Life, Wuzhou International Holdings and Wanda Plaza bring about 1,235 commercial projects to participate in the Expo for tender-invitation for the first time.Moreover, representatives of 300 famous brands (83 clothing brands, 85 boutique brands, 100 restaurant and gourmet food brands and 32 kids’ stuff brands) from both home and abroad, including Walmart, Carrefour, Uniqlo, Bestseller Group, Bohemian Waxwing and Watsons, will be present at the expo for investment promotion and business negotiation. Visitors will be given an opportunity to closely go through industry-wide resources all at once. Shopping centers, brand owners, agencies, franchisees will be given opportunities for business negotiation and contract signing. Ffan will also give a debut to its smart commercial solution package through its platform and demonstrate a series of smart application scenes such as smart shopping, smart film, smart parking, smart restaurant, smart hotel and smart hospital etc. Wanda Financial Group will also be present at the expo for the first time with all of its business segments.
After a decade-plus period of rapid development, China’s real economy enters a transition period in 2016. VIP guests from both home and abroad will be present at the forum of “Innovation and Development of China’s Consumer Economy” to discuss the trend of China’s consumer economy in brainstorming manner. Such guests include: Li Yining, honorary president of Guanghua School of Management, Peking University and well-known economist; Xu Luode, vice governor of Bank of China Head Office;Gu Xueming, president of and party committee secretary of Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation, MOFCOM; Jonathan Reynolds, Deputy Dean of Said Business School of Oxford University; Jiang Ming, chairman of China General Chamber of Commerce; and Wang Jianlin, Chairman of Wanda Group.
Ffan Commercial Expo will also hold other parallel forums such as Physical Retail Innovation & Development Forum, Physical Commercial Digitalization & Development Forum and China Restaurant Brands Development Forum etc; economists, well-known scholars and enterprisers to will be invited to such forums to shed light on such topics as the future development of China’s real economy, innovation of business model, the trend of catering industry and internet+ etc.
