October 7-16, "Ink Dripping - Shi Qi Color Ink Painting Exhibition", sponsored by Wanda Group, is being held at the National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall in Taipei. This is the first time Shi Qi's paintings have been on display in Taiwan, enabling Taiwanese people to appreciate first-hand the profound Chinese paintings of Shi Qi, and promoting the dissemination of Chinese painting.

Shi Qi is a famous contemporary painter, also known as the "representative of new Chinese painting". His works are unique and have brought about a whole new style of Chinese painting, promoting the trend from traditional to modern Chinese painting. Wanda has held successive exhibitions of Shi Qi's works at the Art Museum of the China Academy of Art in Hangzhou, Nanjing Museum, National Art Museum of China in Beijing, Shanghai Art Museum, and the Louvre Museum in France. They have had extensive influence at home and abroad, praised by all walks of life, and have promoted the dissemination of contemporary Chinese painting.

The Shi Qi color ink painting exhibition is showcasing more than 80 of Shi Qi's works painted from 1970s to the present day. Spanning half a century, it covers some of Shi Qi's representative works from different periods, styles, and themes. The exhibition comprehensively demonstrates Shi Qi's artistic achievement, possessing a very high standard of art and ideological content. Wanda started its preparations for the exhibition two years ago, and Shi Qi has created a number of fine works specifically to make the exhibition even greater.

Wanda Group attaches great importance to the inheritance and development of Chinese culture, and it has a twenty-year-old system in place for collecting thousands of calligraphies and paintings from over a hundred modern Chinese artists. This includes representative works from great painters such as Zhang Daqian, Qi Baishi, Xu Beihong, Fu Baoshi, and Li Keran. There are also current preparations to build a national level art museum. Wanda greatly values the discovery and growth of contemporary Chinese masters of art. It has held successive exhibitions at home and abroad for famous Chinese painters, such as Wu Guanzhong, Yang Yanwen, Shi Qi, and Long Rui, in an effort to promote and develop the art of Chinese painting.
