Box office of “The Great Wall” Exceeds RMB800 Million

On December 25, “The Great Wall”, produced by Wanda’s Legendary Entertainment and directed by Zhang Yimou, recorded more than RMB800 million at the box office.
More than 22 million people nationwide watched the movie, just ten days after the release, becoming the highest-grossing one among New Year movies in 2016.
During the Christmas holiday, the market share of “The Great Wall” beat row piece volume every day, showing great potential for better performance in both box office and reputation.
