Wanda Group and Wuliangye Group Signed a Comprehensive Strategic Cooperation Agreement

On November 18, Wanda Group and Wuliangye Group inked a strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing. The two Groups will carry out all-round cooperation covering media industry, sporting events, building of exclusive stores, liquor products and cultural tourism. The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Wang Jianlin, Chairman of Wanda Group, and Mr. Li Shuguang, Party Secretary and Chairman of Wuliangye Group.
The two sides have agreed to set up a network of flagship stores for Wuliangye products at Wanda Plazas across China. In 2020, the first batch of such stores are expected to open for business in Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu and Xi’an. These stores will serve as comprehensive experiential centers integrating food and drink products showcase, promotion and tasting. In addition, the two Groups will collaborate in the areas of brand promotion in cinemas, product placement in films and sponsorship for sporting events.
