Guiyang City's Gui'an New District and Wanda Group Held Symposium and Project Signing Ceremony

On August 31, Gui'an New District of Guiyang City and Wanda Group held a symposium and project signing ceremony. Zhao Deming, Member of the Standing Committee of the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the CPC Guiyang Committee, and Secretary of the CPC Gui’an New District Party Work Committee, attended the symposium.

Wanda Group Chairman Wang Jianlin, and Chen Yan, Deputy Party Secretary and Mayor of Guiyang delivered remarks. Liu Benli, Member of the Guiyang Municipal Standing Committee and Secretary General of Guiyang Municipal Committee presided over the symposium. He said that today, Guiyang City and Gui'an New District were adhering to the guidance of the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, fully implementing the spirit of the Ninth Plenary Session of the 10th Session of the CPC Guiyang Municipal Committee, making every effort to promote the integrated development of Guiyang and Gui'an, moving faster to build cities with large and influential economies that firmly adheres to the new development philosophy, and creating an important pole of economic growth in western China, a new height of an open economy in inland region, and a demonstration zone for ecological progress. There is vast space for development and huge investment potential. Wanda Group, as a large multinational corporation focusing on modern services, has great strength, strong scientific and technological innovation ability and brand influence. The two sides have a deep affinity for each other and a good foundation for cooperation. With early implementation and completion of the signed projects, the two sides can yield benefits earlier, and share the dividends of the high-quality development of Guiyang and Gui'an. After the symposium, the Management Committee of Gui'an New District and Wanda Group signed the "Cooperation Agreement on Comprehensive Projects between Gui'an New District and Wanda Group". The two parties will carry out cooperation in cultural tourism and other fields. The Government of Yunyan District of Guiyang and Wanda signed the "Cooperation Agreement on Wanda Reign Yunyan Hotel and Supporting Projects between Yunyan District and Wanda Group". The two parties will carry out cooperation in high-end hotels and high-end consumption.
