In order to enhance the ideological awareness of the management personnel at all levels in integrity and self-discipline and avoid non-compliant and even illegal acts due to low vigilance in their work, Dalian Wanda Group signed the Integrity Agreement with all the employees of the departments of the Headquarters, the Planning Institute, the Hotel Construction Company, the Commercial Management Company, the Cinema Network Company, the Van’s Store company and the subsidiaries around the country. The move was designed to protect the employees and to alert them to keeping high vigilance to sensitive events. Last year, the Bai Jingrong incident sounded a warning to all Wanda employees: Nobody should abandon principles for selfish gains and cause damage to the interests of the Group and the reputation and career of individuals. Therefore, the Group explicitly declared that no act of using office for selfish gains would be tolerated and that anybody found to have committed such acts would be dismissed without exception.

Taking the signing of the Integrity Agreement as an opportunity, all the employees deepened their understanding of integrity and carried out self-checking to heighten their ideological awareness and prevent wrongdoings. In the meantime, in order to simplify the human relations within the Group and create an open, fair, efficient and harmonious working atmosphere, the new employee must also sign the Letter of Undertaking when he joins Wanda. Under this document, he must guarantee that none of his relatives works in Wanda. This move has won the recognition and cooperation from the Wanda employees and ensured the orderly and smooth operations of the Group.
