Wanda Pictures’s “Jianbing Man” box office breaks 0.5bn in four days

“Jianbing Man”, the latest slapstick comedy produced by Wanda Pictures and distributed by Wuzhou Distribution debuted in theatres across China on July 17. The movie brought in a total of 510 million yuan in its first four days, including 149 million yuan on opening day, breaking a new box office record for 2D film’s in China. The film’s overall box office could surpass Wanda Media’s “Police Story 2013” to become the company’s most successful release ever.
