A few days ago, Beijing Wanda Tourism Investment Co., Ltd, and South Korea's Dongwha Duty Free entered into a partnership in Beijing, leveraging strengths--customer base and resources—to boost growing tourism to South Korea.

Incorporated in 1973, Dongwha Duty Free of South Korea was the first duty free shop in the country, has a long history and is highly regarded in South Korea. It offers tourists traveling to South Korea an extensive range of commercial brands, an excellent shopping environment and competitive prices.

Through this partnership, Dongwha Duty Free hopes to leverage Wanda Tourism's online-offline strengths to attract more Chinese tourists to Dongwha Duty Free's products and services during their stay in South Korea. Dongwha Duty Free is also working together with South Korea's E-Land Group to supply admission tickets to regular Korean WAPOP (World & Asia Pop) concerts for Wanda Tourism's tourists. The two companies are aiming to enrich Chinese tourists travel plans while in South Korea, creating quality tourism products to raise the bar for travel.

As one of the largest domestic tour agencies organizing South Korean tours, Wanda Tourism has always regarded South Korea as a key overseas tour market for development. Wanda looks to expand quality tourist destination resources by cooperating with numerous branded enterprises in South Korea. Wanda Tourism and Dongwha Duty Free will begin their partnership in business and will look for new ways to deepen cooperation, potentially expanding into duty-free products and other related areas in the future.
