Wanda Holds 2020 Danzhai Forum on Social Poverty Alleviation12.09.2020
On Sept. 12, the 2020 Danzhai Forum on Social Poverty Alleviation was held in Danzhai County, Guizhou Province. The forum reviewed exemplary social poverty alleviation work to date and called on enterprises and social organizations to do their utmost to contribute to the victory of war on poverty.
Attendees and keynote speakers of the forum included Sun Zhigang, Party Secretary of Guizhou Provincial Party Committee, Liu Yongfu, director of the State Council Leading Group Office of Poverty Alleviation and Development, Wang Wenbin, Deputy Auditor-General of the National Audit Office, Fan Youshan, Vice Chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, Li Weining, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of Zhejiang Provincial People's Congress, Wang Jianlin, Chairman of Wanda Group, leaders of Guizhou Province, Beijing, Guangdong Province, Longnan City of Gansu Province, Qiandongnan Prefecture of Guizhou Province and Danzhai County, representatives of China Resources Group, Evergrande Group, Kuweichow Moutai Group, Meituan-Dianping and other enterprises that participate in poverty-relief projects, representatives of China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation, and other poverty alleviation organizations, as well as volunteers, and experts and scholars in the field of social poverty alleviation.
The 2020 Danzhai Forum on Social Poverty Alleviation was organized under the guidance of the State Council Leading Group Office of Poverty Alleviation and Development and the People's Government of Guizhou Province, and was co-hosted by the Poverty Alleviation Office of Guizhou Province, the People's Government of Qiandongnan Prefecture of Guizhou Province, and the Social Poverty Alleviation Department of the State Council Leading Group Office of Poverty Alleviation and Development. The forum aimed to promote important instructions on social poverty alleviation by the Party Central Committee and the State Council, learn experiences on social poverty alleviation, share best practices, publicize successful projects, reach broad consensus and more extensively and effectively mobilize all sectors of the society to fight poverty and win the war on poverty in all respects.
At the forum, Sun Zhigang, Party Secretary of Guizhou Provincial Party Committee, Liu Yongfu, director of the State Council Leading Group Office of Poverty Alleviation and Development, Wang Wenbin, Deputy Auditor-General of the National Audit Office, Fan Youshan, Vice Chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, and Wang Jianlin, Chairman of Wanda Group, jointly launched the Wanda’s “2025 Plan”.
