Wanda Group Held 2008 Annual Meeting

Wanda Group held its 2008 meeting on work summary and commendation on January 10 at the colorfully-decorated Wanda Pullman Hotel in Beijing. Chaired by Group Vice President Yin Hai, this grand event was personally attended by over 800 people and viewed by nearly 10,000 Wanda employees around the country. It was the first time Wanda had held its annual meeting at a five-star hotel built by itself.

After a promotional TV footage “Exciting and Colorful” was screened, Chairman Wang Jianlin delivered a report on work summary in 2008 and work arrangement for 2009. He said 2008 was a special year he would never forget. He also pointed out the defects and shortcomings in the work and outlined the targets and responsibilities for all the systems of the Group.

Finally, Wang said with confidence that in the next five years, Wanda would develop into a world-class enterprise through the joint efforts of all those working in the Group. He wished all the Wanda employees a happy new year and a prosperous life.

The meeting also commended the model projects, model units, model departments, model reporter units and model reporters, and heard the wonderful speeches made by the representatives of these model units.
